Tokyo Sushi — Restaurant in Town of Herkimer

Update: recently was served cooked sushi cross contaminated with raw sushi.

Sushi is great and all, just don't like them lying about the wait time. It's never on and I always end up waiting 50 minutes after the 20 minutes they say it's gonna take!

edit: update to this. Their service has gotten worst. It takes lest time driving to new Hartford and back with sushi from somewhere better than the wait time here.they will tell you an hour, but then when you get there you'll be waiting 2 hours. They've been heard on the phone lying to people saying orders are ready when they arent. On top of that, quality has gone down hill.often using firm and non-ripe avocado in the sushi that you can't chew or...

Overall...nice restaurant!! I ordered the Spicy Tokyo Chicken with fried rice! Excellent!! Since no fork was given to me, I was forced to eat with chopsticks, which wasn't that bad! It was my first time eating an entire Asian meal with chopsticks! Maybe I'll do it again! 😁😁. As mentioned, the Spicy Tokyo Chicken was very good with an excellent tangy dipping sauce! I'd definitely order it again! The only negative...the wait time to get my food was unacceptable!! There were only two people taking orders, running food, cashing people out, etc. The young male (approximately 16 or 17) was really nice, but he needed help! Overall...a good place for authentic...

I stopped in on my way through town. I had the super bento box S5. All I can say is...wow. I would have to say that was some of the freshest raw fish I have had èver. Delicate flavor and the flesh was just exquisite. The dynamite roll delivered on it's promise to be dynamite. I will warn you, bring your appetite, I was bareĺy able to finish, so good! I mean, even the "house" salad, consisting of just iceberg lettuce, was made extraordinary with only one other ingredient being the dressing.
