Valley Wine & Liquor — Local services in Town of Herkimer

I have been going to this store for over a year now and I have never been asked to show the Id’s of the people in the car when it was just me going in the store. I asked to speak to the store owner he just looked at me with an awkward look and didn’t even address himself as the owner and told me that it’s a NY state law for people in the car to show id to. I asked him what about the lady in the car outside and he just replied, “she looked old so we didn’t ask her”. Never been asked this before so I wonder if it’s only a law when they choose to enforce it in...

I’m originally from the area, and while we were passing through on my way home for a holiday, I had such a great experience that I had to share a 5/5 review!

Highlights: great selection both of the guys in the store were very kind, and even let our young kids use the bathroom knowledgeable - got a great recommendation for a Pinot Noir

Don't understand why they can't consistently have Rasta Ranch wines on hand. Then they tell you that they probably won't carry it anymore because we don't come buy it when they have it. Well, we go elsewhere when you rarely have it in. Get your stuff together & have it in consistently & we would buy it there. I really don't like having to go to Utica to buy Rasta Ranch wines... Would much rather...
