Best Italian fine foods in Huntington and all of Long Island! I Absolutely love this place everything is always fresh! I haven’t visited in awhile as I stopped working in that area. I remembered the place and decided to take a ride for lunch and I’ve been returning weekly with family for lunch and dinners. This is an Old school spot for Everything Italian! I love the hero’s, the bread is like getting it from a bakery..the fried chicken cutlets are like butter very tender and they have a great marinara sauce! I Love the fried eggplant super thin and always crispy never soggy. I eat it by hand no bread. Check out their hot meals, all freshly made daily..shrimp, chicken cacciatore, pork chops, sausage n peppers and so many more. Soooo delicious, tastes homemade. They also have fresh mozzarella, rice balls, potato croquettes, meats, steaks, sausages, fresh & dry pasta, ravioli, cookies, canned goods and my favorite chips “Charles potato chips” I haven’t seen them in years and they carry big bags. Another favorite they sell is ice cold Manhattan Special soda in the glass bottle an Italian American espresso soda, a Brooklyn favorite and hard to find in stores on Long Island! Been here a thousand time ... Great food! Real people. Caruso's is my go to spot for exceptional Italian take out. They also have an excellent meat case - steaks, chicken, sausage, burgers ... Always happy with my selections. I always seem to get the grilled and/or breaded chicken cutlets (great) - sometimes a square of lazagna or eggplant parm, occasionally shrimp fra diavlo with a side of fra diavlo sauce and some spaghetti to cook at home. A ball of fresh mootz ... Then now and again something prepared that day for dinner - marinated skirt steak, pork chop with cherry peppers, and on and on ... I am probably in there 2x per week -...

Since you opened we have been patrons of your store, especially at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter and we always order the stuffed breads and sometimes other products. The products are always fresh and extremely tasty and the hit of the day. However, for at least the past five years, every time we order stuffed breads and other products for the holiday, you always seem to lose our order and look at me like I am lying. In today's marketplace, there is no reason to lose an order for whatever reason, especially during a holiday. Please try to upgrade your order taking which appears haphazard rather than...
