Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I’m a frequent drive thru customer at this location and I’ve been trying to give them a chance maybe because they were new in the area not too long ago and were in a convenient location, unfortunately I have been experiencing a very inconsistent quality of service and product - where the donut or croissant or whatever food I’m ordering is never fresh and a lot of times old , dry and stale and looks like it should not be sold and the coffee, in any style, is always sub par in taste or ingredient . Communication with the drive thru staff is sometimes unclear or unpleasant, again very inconsistent in delivery- I almost never finish my drinks from this location, feeling like it wasn’t what I expected it to be and I think I just had enough. I've never experienced a DD so poorly run than this one. Every single time I've been there, my order has been messed up. I keep giving them another chance because it's right down the road from me and the next one is out of the way, but, I really have just accepted I can't order here anymore. The last time I went, I even had the employee in the drive thru read the order back to me. I ended up with only half of it. I told them this and they gave me half of the missing items. Informed them again. SIX people were standing there trying to understand this issue and I finally had to say it slower and in more detail to finally be given my items. It was absolutely bizarre. My 12 yr old in the passenger seat couldn't understand why this was even happening. Before moving to this location, the DD that closed and reopened here was the best one I've ever visited. It's a Dunkin' Donuts. Not much to say about it. You're getting exactly what you pay for, which is a mediocre fast food breakfast. Nothing special or fancy. And I like that. Sometimes I like getting out of bed and taking a drive over to Dunkin' if I don't know what to eat. But don't expect luxury or high quality food. If you want that, Bagel Chalet is down the road, and Duck Donuts is a 10 or 15 minute drive down Jericho and Vets Memorial Highway.

I guess my real complaint about this location is that the workers can be a little bit rude. I go through the drive thru, generally in the late morning/early afternoon. I understand it, given that it's a minimum wage job and they probably don't get paid enough for what they have to put up with, but it's still a bit jarring.
