After going through my Applebee’s visit again, here’s my edited take:

Applebee’s on East Ridge Road remains a dependable casual dining spot with solid comfort food and friendly service. The riblets stayed tender and flavorful, though some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the sauce this time around. The cheeseburger was juicy and fresh, but I noticed the fries could’ve been crispier.

The service continues to impress—attentive without being overbearing, making the meal smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere still holds that warm, laid-back vibe, perfect for families or groups looking to relax without fuss.

If there was a selection of zero stars this is what I personally would rate . Party of three encounter had multiple issues with this restaurant yesterday. First the silver ware for each of us still had food remenets on them, we asked for plastic at that point, the saucers they placed on the table had a short black hair on it, ( maybe a pubic, idk) after receiving the food we ordered, our shareable mozzarella sticks had been fried in a very dark oil, it was dripped all over the plate, all three steaks were supposed to be cooked medium well, a hot pinkish center, EACH of us got a steak soaked in a pool of blood. One of our drinks clearly had a frozen bug in the ice cube. Our service was non existent, as we had to ask others for items, like the host. Never once did we have a drink refilled or asked if our appetizer was good, or even our meal. Mind you there was a handful of people here.When asked for a manager to speak with, we waited about twenty minutes while she bartended. Once the female manager approaches us, she had a nasty demeanor and wouldn't even take the time to discuss or listen to the problems we incurred. I would NOT recommend dining here not even for the homeless. The manager ended up yelling and screaming at us telling us to just leave throwing her hands up in the air and swatting her hand towel towards us. She insinuated that we were leaving, stating "sure you did go out to smoke" bc one person in our party left to go smoke outside, while TWO of us waited patiently for her to arrive at our table. She also threatened to call the cops for us not consuming the food, we left it All on the table, and refusing a refund. Btw the prices have increased and the establishment has decreased in overall food, worth, assembly, and value. Again please do not eat here!!! First off, this Restaurant is lucky it's even recieving a star. That's only thanks to our server Melissa G for being kind, caring and attentive. Today we came in and being a holiday I understand we may have to wait. The hostess told us 10 to 15 minutes while the servers catch up. This tells me they are short staffed and are unable to keep up with the holiday rush which should be considered. I decided to use their bathroom , it smelled and was on the dirtier side, but what really bothered me , making me hesitant to even eat there was they were completely out of soap. On the mirror was a sign reminding employees to wash hands thoroughly. I made sure I let a few staff members know. We got our meal and the condiments were completely emptied. These are the kind of things that should be checked and done at the start of your shift. Also I get it's a business ...but my kids tiny craft mac and cheese portion that cost maybe 4 dollars, could have been bought at the store in a box for less than a dollar. We continue to eat and my husband gets up to use the restroom. He then comes back telling me how absolutely disgusting the mens bathroom was, with urine all over the floor, looking like it is hasnt been mopped or cleaned in over a month. While we didn't complain about any of this, the manager walked by ( looking like a complete slob) proceeded to talk to the table behind us and never stopped to ask how anyone else was. Before leaving, I walked back to the womens bathroom, the soap was filled, however the garbage was overflowing with paper towels and the paper towel dispenser was completely emptied. On the way out I overheard two employees exchanging inappropriate comments to eachother not so discreetly. Truth is, I am incredibly disappointed being that I just recently started coming back to applebees and have had great food and great experience before. I read these poor reviews and you would think they would try to improve but clearly they...
