Citi Trends — Local services in Town of Irondequoit

I called this location on 11/15 around 8:05pm to find out their hours of operation. The young lady on the phone replied Google it (very unprofessional). I told her I understand what Google says, but this location has been known to close earlier & I didn't want to drive for about 20 minutes for nothing. She said "oh were closed than, matter of fact we just closed". Again I explained I wanted to know what's the hours of operation, so I can come the following day because I was looking for a specific item that the other location didn’t have in the size that we needed. She yelled back to her manager "what's our hours of operation"? She got back on the phone & said "from 10am-9pm). I said it's only a few minutes after 8pm, how is the store already closed if it's not supposed to close at 9pm? She hung up on me. I actually drove out there, arrived at almost 8:28pm & not one customer was in the store. I walked in & absolutely no one greeted me. One employee was vacuuming the floor, the othere two was unpacking boxes. As I go to look for the item that we need, the two unpacking the box was having a very unprofessional conversation, talking about their personal lives & using excessive profanity (one of the employees happened to be the manager). I proceed to checkout, no one came to cash me out for a few minutes. The manager finally called a young lady from the back. As she's approaching me, I asked her if she can get the manager for me. She tells the manager that I would like to speak with her & the manager reply was fir what, you're getting ready to check her out. Once the manager finally made her way to me, I explained what had happened earlier on the phone. She said she doesn't know anything about it. I told her that's why I was bringing it to her attention. She didn't want to deal with it & told me if I wanted to make a complaint call corporate very nonchalant. I asked for corporate #, she said I can get it off the bottom of my receipt. I asked for her name & the employee who hung up me name, she said no & walked away. The manager is truly unfit to be in management position. She's very rude, unprofessional, unpleasant & has a very nasty attitude. This isn't the 1st time I've seen her act like this, but it's the 1st time it happened to me. I will be calling corporate just as she instructed me to do. I've been shopping at Cititrends since they 1st opened in the south, but they no longer have to...

I had driven by this store numerous times and wondered what they were all about. Being a Google guide and consumer searching and fighting inflation for people, I visited the store yesterday. The store sells a combination of clothing, and other products for men, women, and children. I must say the prices are quite competitive, and affordable for people. This store was very clean and inventory well organized. I met a gentlemen doing inventory organizing, and a good job at that! I also met NiNi, the clerk. A very polite young lady. WITHOUT NOTIFICATION!!! Dumb rule! I went to pick up my layaway, (missing 2 payments) and they had put the layaway back 😡 THEN don’t ask for peoples phone numbers if you can’t make a courtesy call regarding the layaway. People may not have the funds at time of payment due BUT knowing that their layaway is “still there” and able to PICK UP prior the deadline date should be an OPTION!
