I wish I could give this place negative stars. I ordered the Mei Fun and wrote gluten free on the special modifications. After paying the overpriced menu item and the $10 delivery fee. What I received was a non gluten free soy sauce packet to accompany my meal. I called to verify that this dish was made gluten free as indicated. The lady explained to me that the dish is made with rice noodles so she did not write gluten free on the ticket and if I would've ordered something else then she would've but didn't feel it was necessary on this meal item. However, soy sauce is a known source for gluten so I asked to clarify if the dish was gluten free. The lady explained she does not know. I asked if we were able to speak with the chef. She explained nobody else spoke English and wouldn't be able to help. The call was disconnected, I called back and explained I'd like a refund and to have it re-made as ordered. I say no, the person who called got quite & said it would be there soon & that the order was placed as pickup. We call 20 minutes later- now 1.5 hours since order was placed. We’re told we’ll get a call back from the manager. No call.ANOTHER 20 minutes go by- we call again. We’re just asking if we should come pick up the food& if it’s been sitting at the restaurant for over an hour. Told again the Manager would call back. Still no call. Food shows up 10 minutes later (now 1 hour and 50 minutes since order qas placed.). Still no call. And the food was definitely not fresh. All we wanted was fresh Chinese & would have had no problem picking up. But the communication was disappointing.
