Bagel Buzz — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Finally getting back home after spending time with my family in West Islip, I now have the time to write a review pertaining to “The Bagel Buzz”. My aunt and uncle are both fortunate to be essential workers during this COVID-19 crisis,however they are off for the weekends.. On April 18 and the 25th both Saturdays, My cousin and I went to the Bagel Buzz. We ordered our food as we stood there waiting for our food the person that was on the grill ( At first we thought it was a guy because of the short hair) however hearing the voice it was clear it was a female, absolutely rude, consistent with barking out orders to the other workers there, on top of all that she completely made our sandwiches wrong!! We were quite upset! Thankfully however another employee (female,long hair) graciously took our order back and corrected the mistakes and then on top of that gave us a few extra orange juice’s... We heard the girl on the grill say she did the order as it was written... the girl with the long hair showed her the papers which indicated exactly what our order should have been... At that point the girl at the grill stayed quiet... The biggest situation is the rudeness,huffing and puffing. We have decided it’s best not to go into an establishment with such a rude disrespectful attitude towards others. This is already such a heartbreaking situation with The COVID-19 spread so we’d rather go to a more pleasant place... Thank you to the employee with...

I contacted Bagel Buzz to cater a brunch to entertain family coming to visit from Idaho. They requested the best New York bagels since good bagels are hard to find in Idaho. I also have severe food allergies in my family which includes peanuts, tree nuts, strawberries and red dye #40. I spoke with Gina who was a delight! She took my allergy request very serious and assured me that no cross contamination would take place. She got back to me quickly with a very very reasonable price! It was delivered on time. The salad wrap platter looked and tasted amazing. The bagels my Idaho family requested did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and fresh. You owe it to yourself to let Bagel Buzz in West Islip cater...

Older gentlemen asked the lady what order she was picking up for and I thought he was talking to me and spoke out the name. He seemed mad that I spoke over the lady by accident and ignored me.... He started taking everyone's order and kept ignoring me and then the younger gentle men asked me what I was waiting for and I told him the door dash order and it turned out it was ready some time ago. Older gentleman didn't bother to ask me or check and continued taking orders from other customers.
