Four Season Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I just moved to the area and found these guys on Google and saw that they had a higher star rating and so I called! And the first time and second time and the time after that the food was really good, but this time I ordered and I always have it delivered (they are about a half a mile from where I live) it took them closer to 2 hours on a Wednesday night and when I finally got my food it was COLD! I am not one to complain, but I did as I called them and as I explained to them that my food was cold, she said that it’s OK because the food is still good and you can heat it up in the microwave! I didn’t wait two hours to get cold food! So I then said well the food is not good because it’s cold and it tastes different when you reheat it, so she said that someone would come and pick up the food, the food that I have already eaten and then she will give me a refund of my money. ordered Chinese food on 7/8/19 as the office we usually does from this place. As I was eating my food I felt a crunch and a unexplainable taste in my mouth so I spit the food out on a napkin to see a ROACH !! OMG I wanted to die.... I called the restaurant and told them I had a roach in my food and the lady that always picks up the phone and rushes you while ordering on the phone says "so sorry you want me to make another one for you?" obviously I said no I wanted a refund the whole office staff wanted a refund . So the lady gets mad and says I'm sending my driver to pick up the food sure fine pick it all up no one here wants to eat from there now after a roach was found in the food. when the driver came to pick up the food he was so rude non apologetic grabbed the food and left. NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE...

Place was filthy & food was too greasy. People or employees were very nice, but unfortunately food was not as good as there competition. It will be a long time before I try this local Chinese Restaurant again. I always try to patronize my local community Restaurants or Establishments. Unfortunately, this Restaurant falls short. If they would clean up & fix the front add airflow & air conditioning, clean floor & walls. They would have a better representation including their Kitchen. I know it was an hour before closing on a Sunday night, but no excuse. Good Luck. What a shame. I guess they lost their vigor since the 1st. days they opened. It feels that they don't care anymore.
