Chico's Deli — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Are they racist here? I've gone there about 6 times. First few times for lunch, the food was great. They did seem slightly annoyed I didnt speak Spanish and had to get the manager to take my order but no biggie, I wish I was bilingual. Breakfast was good at first too but I noticed I was getting charged extra. First 50 cents and then a dollar. Last time I went with my coworkers, food was terrible, gave us about half a portion, my wrap was mostly wrap. Figured it was a fluke and someone was in a bad mood. Went again this morning, the manager? charged me 3 extra dollars, I finally called him out on it. He says well last time I charged you a dollar more and you were ok with it. Blew my mind! Food was not as good i i heard from my mom company. Some people don't expect much from spanish food but i do. I am spanish so i know what i am looking for and this food is very greasy, does not taste like Dominican or Puerto Rican food and is over price. like one of the others review i read, they don't have a set price on food. Everytime you go is more and more and less and less food. I went twice to give it the benefit of the doubt but won't be going back. Only reason to me that they have some customer is because they are by factories and some people mainly non spanish like the food because it's different from what they normally eat. I had the worse pork sandwich anyone could ever make . They splashed my sandwich with like a pound of mayo and pork was super salty. Walked into this place to get a small plate of veggies/salad and a piece of steak, but then decided I wanted two steaks. As I’m telling the woman what I want, the owner walks in and says it’s over 20 dollars for the two tiny steaks and 16 for one with the veggies. I asked if he was serious because I was in shock, and he replied “I’m dead serious” then walked away.
