Food King Express — Restaurant in Town of Islip

11-10-22 My elderly mother just ordered ribs that are usually juicy and delicious but this time we could not eat the ribs because they were so dry and tasted old. She called and complained and was told that's how they are today. That lady in the front needs an attitude adjustment for paying customers. They came and collected the rest of the ribs and charged her for the ribs that were eaten. I would give them 0 stars but that was not an option. Now I know why the food taste old, it's because they are collecting old returned orders and selling old food that people have eaten over for new food.🤮🤢 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. WE PAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR FOOD THAT IS HANDLED FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN. GOOD BYE FOOD KING, YOUR SERVICE AND FOOD HANDLING SUCK AND WE'VE BEEN...

it might be free delivery but they’ll force* you to tip, since when did tip not become optional? to be transparent it’s not that i did not want to tip but once you ask for change it is expected of a delivery driver to have that ready and hand it over, instead their current driver decided to immediately interject this request by saying “look what you paid with” (it was 40$) as if that has anything to do with the common courtesy or policy of service/business, have quite literally never experienced this from any delivery or restaurant/eating out situation food is also sub par, have only ordered here a few times because of this “free delivery” allure but will not be again, especially with the front desk’s...

Food is good, not always anyway.. the customer service is horrible. I literally went over there from my 16hr shift because I was hungry and didnt want to cook. So she ignored me the whole time I was standing there. The place was empty, I was the first one there. She saw me and didnt even ask me "can I help you" so I'm standing there, one guy walks in she skips over me and takes his order.. w.e cool, I waited to see if she will get to me eventually. NOPE 3 more people came in, she took an order over the phone. Then proceeded to look past me and take the other person's order. She didnt even look at me lol. So I walked out. And now I'm writing this review. Proceed this place...
