Lion's Den — Restaurant in Town of Islip

They seem to be taking every precaution seriously. Theres plexiglass barriers at the bar every 2-3 seats. Masks are worn by the bartender and patrons while moving around. And as soon as the patrons leave the bartender is cleaning the seating area and bar/table top. Today's bartender Kristen never stopped moving whether to serve or clean. It's nice to see they are still taking this pandemic seriously and haven't become jaded with all this extra work. Plus there's plenty of food on the menu, TVs everywhere, jukebox and lotto to give everyone...

I’d like to consider myself quite the simple minded aristocrat. But when it comes to food, I know my stuff. This establishment has all the potential in the world, but there was something missing from my experience at the Lions Den. Where is the heart? Where is the soul? The passion? That is what I’m looking for when I go out to eat at restaurants and bars. Me and my friends were out on a “guys night” but it ended up being a “wheres my food?”...

Cute little neighborhood pub, with a good menu and really sweet staff. Great place for a game night, given the place has large screen TVs along all walls, screening various sporting/news channels. There’s a modern electronic juke box in the corner as well, adding to the quaintness of the decor.
