Subway - Bayshore - 29603 — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This is quite a review to share so please some may have already had this experience. It seems that subway and the local owners has conspired with other local owners to not accept subway coupons. The company spends tens of millions of dollars on marketing and advertising and mails the coupons to my home with other weekly flyer discounts. This subway will not accept SUBWAY coupons and had the audacity to lie and say that the company POS machine will not accept the coupons. It is a lie! An OUTRIGHT LIE….The local owners are all complaining that they don’t get their kickbacks from corporate and will not honor of the coupons. I’m done with Subway I’m done with this owner, who is a cheapskate and A liar. As it is when I went in there other times, I had to fight with the woman proprietor when I asked for extra toppings. She would dabble on one or two more. I had to ask two more times for olives. This subway sucks as well as East Islip. Do not patronize the store. They have no right to refuse the coupons as this is a corporate entity. They are conspiring with other stores. Do not patronize Subway there are other options for sandwiches. This subway is supposed to be 24 hours. They ain't. The guy even has the huge LED sign that says open, their google page says 24 hrs, but guess what, the guy will just lock the door and go in the back to probably watch youtube. As I was knocking on the door, I joke you not, he literally came from the back of the counter to wave his finger to me to say he wasn't opening for me. I don't know if maybe he is related to the owner (which wouldn't surprise me) to take this liberties of just closing the store down whenever he feels like it. If you're thinking of a late snack, or even worse yet, you're someone who is a worker at the hospital or a visitor for a patient at the hospital and looking for something to eat nearby because you can't have anything at the hospital, THIS PLACE WILL NOT BE OPEN BECAUSE THE GUY LOVES TO TAKE NAPS IN THE BACK. It’s always one employee to mess things up. I eat from here a lot and every time I leave a tip because they are extremely polite and make my sandwiches the way I like. But tonight this one employee who was rushing me along with the other guy helping him; and the entire time they were talking about me in their language, but as he’s handing me my change he rudely says “where’s my tip” like that is all the way out of line and I know subway does not train them to do so. I told him you don’t do that to anybody. I gave him a tip anyways although I shouldn’t have but I will be calling corporate in the morning.
