Phil, one of the security guards, tried manhandling me and my 2 friends after getting out of the restroom because we were wondering if there was anything happening by the staircase. We saw 8 people walk upstairs, and we were wondering if there was a rooftop or anything—literally that’s it. He GRABBED my friend by the neck and was trying to throw him out unprovoked after my friend literally told him he was wondering if there was anything upstairs. I had just gotten out of the bathroom and was being shoved very aggressively while not understanding what was going on. He was intoxicated or under the influence, which is not ok, and was being derogatory towards us. I hope he isn’t allowed to work there anymore. We were walking there just to use the restroom and grab a drink and nothing more. There is NOTHING that makes up for his behavior. It’s unlikely, but I hope they can learn from this experience, and that type of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. Fire island is a good experience, just stay away from...

Went hear today for the first time to see Jimmy and the Parrots. Our waitress was on point and very sweet. Checked in on us, but not too much. The music was outstanding, but we knew it would be considering we’ve seen them before. Owner was present and very hands-on to make sure that everyone was having a great time. The owner and waitress were nice enough to buy us a shot before leaving, thank us for coming, and letting us know that bringing in great quality musicians was a priority. Even the bouncers and guys that worked the door very friendly and accommodating, and had a great conversation with them upon leaving. Shout out to Mike! Vanilla with chocolate sprinkles! It’s clear that a lot of time and effort is put into the details ranging from the food, the quality of the music, and the way the place looks and feels. Awesome bar. They had a 12+ person live band playing amazing music for labor day (well sunday atleast) with no cover. The bar itself got packed but it was reasonably easy and fast service at the bar. The staff was friendly and accomidating.

The 'rocket fuels' were okay, but werent very strong. The other drinks looked like they would have been the way to go.

The bathrooms were pretty disgusting though and not well kept at all. Staff shoyld check on them and also keep females out of jumping males bathrom on busy days. Tampons and puke in urinals are not okay.

Overall the bar and service andentertainment far outweighs the bathroom issue. Worth...
