Big Papa's Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Lancaster

We noticed a stream of smiling, satisfied customers leaving Big Papa's Creamery when we were across the street – a great sign! Though they weren't open for our visit the following day, it's clear this creamery is a wonderful new addition to the village. You'll find it conveniently located in the new building on W. Main (near Central), making it an easy stroll from other popular downtown establishments. We're very encouraged by the positive buzz and wish them all the best. We were up in the area, and craving ice cream. We wanted to try something different so randomly chose this spot. Wow, what a win! I had strawberry and salted caramel,cand my wife had chocolate covered cherry and cookies and cream. Really just outstanding. If you're a lover of hand crafted ice creams, you can't do better. I even preferred this to Rosie's. Several really good dairy free flavors, too. And get the fresh waffle cone -- crisp with a slight lemon taste, like the best pizzelle...

Can’t say enough about my experience with Big Papa’s Creamery. First and foremost Cole is a consummate professional in both how he handles scheduling/planning and execution come game day. The homemade ice cream literally stops time for anyone during their indulgence 😆. Seriously I’m going to have to drive from Grand Island to Lancaster or wherever the truck is roaming to get a taste of whatever Cole is concocting...
