The Pizza Heist — Restaurant in Town of Lancaster

I used to like pizza heist, the last few times we’ve gone there it’s gotten worse and worse. Not sure what’s going on but our favorite pizza place has gotten really terrible.

6 out of 20 wings were massively deformed, and inedible. Supposed to be 10 mild, 10 medium. They were all tossed in the same sauce with the same amount of sauce. All medium. I have young kids that don’t eat medium.

They also won’t let you use a gift card if you’re getting one of the specials? So a 42 dollar large pizza and 20 wings special is rang up separately and your gift card is charged 47 dollars. Crazy to have disregard like that when people are showing loyalty to your business and purchasing gift cards.

Pizza was burnt, but this isnt the first time that’s happened, they usually burn half of it and the other half is “ok”, kind of awful to pay for a full pizza and only half is edible.

I called to see what they could do, they put me on hold for 10 minutes then said they are calling the owner to see what they can do. I was on hold for 10 more minutes and then they said they are waiting to hear back from the owner. I verified my name and number with them and they did not call me back.

It’s ok if food gets messed up or whatever, it happens, that’s fine. But to take my info, not call me back and blow me off is just not right.

Sadly, we won’t be eating at pizza...

I recently moved into Lancaster, and The Pizza Heist was recommended. So I placed an order at 11:00 am for a 5:00 pm pickup. I arrived at 4:55, paid and at 5:05 I was approached and told that there was a mix up when the order was sent back and the pizza was ready, but the wings had just gotten dropped. I was offered free delivery as soon as they were ready.

I agreed to that as I had company arriving. However I would have been better off waiting. I live about 7 minutes away. At 5:50 I called to check on the status and was told that they were leaving right then and I was the first drop off.

At 6:15 called them back to see where they were and was told they were just pulling into my yard.

Asked to speak to a manager and was told that she was the manager. She went on to lament about how they were short staffed and had to call in a driver etc. Finally asked for a reimbursement of some sort.

I did get a refund, the wings were not hot and arrived at 6:20.

I was very disappointment with the poor service, especially when this order was not large, ( 2 large pizzas and 40 wings) and was ordered at 11:00 am.

The pizza was good, although by the time the wings came was no longer hot. The wings were cold so hard to even rate them.

Not sure I will go...

Ordered from here twice just moved to the area so we keep trying places. The Buffalo wings were gross, not crispy like i asked for and hot. These were dry like they ran out of sauce, and the pizza was meh but my son ate it. I called to find out if the wings were normally like this mgr said no and here is a$10 credit to try us again. Ordered a pizza again thought I'd give them another chance but wings from the place across the street as their wings are ALWAYS on point. Opened the pizza to find only 3/4 has cheese, not baked completely and way to much sauce causing whatever bit of cheese on the pie to slide off in the box. Called to complain said they would bring a new pizza in an hour. An hour!! Forgetaboutit i will patronize a better place even if it costs twice as much. The girl.slammed the phone after i said i was shocked that a.pizza like this could be considerably sold and served. All I can say is lesson learned read...
