Green Buffalo Pub — Restaurant in Town of Lancaster

ZERO stars. This place is misogynistic as well as racist. On top of both of those things, you will be refused service if you have an out of state ID card (regardless if you have multiple forms of ID). I’ve never had worse service than I received at this bar. We were met with nothing but disrespect from the moment we stepped in the door. I’d never imagine such a trash pit of a bar could be capable of such terrible service. You’d think they’d try to make up for the weird smell and lack of cleanliness with good service, but that is not the case. The old and bitter bartender (pictured below), refused us service based solely off the fact the were young women, not from New York. This dump should be shut down asap. Now you’ll all see their response to this review, please note that it is a BOLD FACE LIE. There were multiple men in that bar being served alcohol who openly admitted to having out of state ID’s. Bar-keep was very rude and standoffish. We were out-of-towners in Buffalo for work just for a couple days, went in on Saturday night just looking for a relaxed drink, and were met by a bad attitude from the bartender. I am a bartender myself, and when people ask me what I enjoy making it’s usually very welcome, as I believe most bartenders would agree with. Having spent some years in the military, I don’t go out and drink much anymore, and when I do, I appreciate a good bartender who can tell me their best drinks. We did end up leaving and went down the street to Bloomfield’s and then to Classic Cue Billiards. Both of those bars were great with fantastic service, people, and attitudes and they will both be getting a 5-star review from me and recommendations to coworkers and friends. I absolutely loved my time at Green Buffalo pub! Great food, lots of fun and they were supporting a very good cause on this night.

The owner was on hand in house having fun making sure everything was running smoothly. One hell of a great guy.
