Sal's Place — Restaurant in Town of Lloyd

Sal the owner met us at the door and at our request moved tables o for us to enjoy the great weather and sunshine in Early November . Six of us drove up from Long Island with our electric bikes on racks to ride and check out the Dutchess Rail trail and bridge over the Hudson . It had a nice paved path with great scenery along the way , we planned on hitting the little town of Highland once we got over the bridge. Sals place is a local bar with many interesting characters, not our first choice to eat but a few locals suggested it as we rode around town. ‘My family is super picky I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while but wasn’t aware they had delivery We got Rueben w Fries, cowboy burger w fries, fresh mozzarella tower and 2 orders chicken tenders w fries First I have to say the prices are probably the most reasonable I’ve seen around! Stayed in the area on 8/19 and needed somewhere to eat dinner. Saw this add for Sal's Place in Highland as a Dive Bar but went anyway. Happy I did, No Problem going to Dive Bars as it is only another name for Locals to Hang out. Glad I went, food and service were AOK! Was busy but Dania did a Great Job! Jamaican Jerk Wings were plump and delicious, best I had in a long time! Other meal was Chicken Tacos that was filled and great tasting. Drinks were made perfect and prices were very good.
