Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Mamakating

Had a get together for which we decided to get 2 boxes of hot chocolate and one box of coffee; plus 2 dozen donuts of select types. Called the week, and day before to confirm this was viable, was assured by the manager that they could handle the order.

The morning of our function, we tried to call ahead (as we'd been told) but couldn't get through. When we arrived, we reiterated the order and said we would return in about 25-30 min to pick it up.

After running another quick errand; we returned and took our items within the time-frame we'd given.

The order totaled over $120.

When we brought the stuff to our party, (10 min away) those who went for the coffee/hot chocolate noted they were already lukewarm to cool.

Additionally, they called a number of audibles on the donuts; meaning we ended up with excess numbers of certain ones and few to none of the others we wanted.

The only bright spots on the shop are the friendliness of the staff; but it otherwise appears they aren't adequately prepared to function as a Dunkin', even in the relatively quiet town of Wurtsboro.

Hoping they can turn it around, but would not recommend...

Went there 2x this weekend and both were not great. First time was on 5/24 and the display case was neglected and overall cleanliness of the place was below average. A male staff member with a tatted face working the register was video chatting and taking selfies while there were waiting customers. The next time was on 5/27 and the place was gross. Dried coffee stains on every surface, sugar packets and garbage all over the floor, employees friends outside smoking weed blocking the entrance which employees on the clock were mingling with while customers were in the store, and the display case was again neglected. However, the worst part about this visit was a female employee with long black hair that wasn’t working walked in behind the counter with a red coffee cup she had with her from outside the store and made herself a beverage. The ice scoop she used was touching the rim of that cup she had and just tossed the scoop back into the ice chest. Pretty sure that’s cross contamination and a health code violation.

Every time I go here it is a complete and utter waste of time. Nobody in that store knows what's going on. Everybody is running around like a chicken without a head on. I made my mobile order. Waited 15 minutes. Walked in still wasn't ready after 15 minutes. It still was never made. I just walked out at that point. They have random cups all over the counter. I know Dunkin isn't the cream of the crop but for a new store holy moly this place should've never opened. Don't even bother walking in here you're better off driving an extra 20 minutes to Ellenville to get your coffee. You'll probably be back with your coffee faster than if these people were to make it if they even look at the orders...
