Bar Aida — Restaurant in Town of Mamaroneck

I will never return to this place again. My friend and I went there at 530pm this Friday night. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive, but it almost felt like they were pushing us to drink and eat to get us out of there. The band was supposed to start at 7. They did not start until about 7:45. It was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. It’s a very clicky place. if you knew the owners, bartenders, or the band members, you received top priority. If you do not know someone there, they make you feel like an outcast. We were asked if we could get up from the bar so that the couple standing next to could sit down and eat. There were tables behind us where people were just drinking. They were people next to us at the bar who were just drinking. None of them were asked to get up so someone could sit down and eat. we were not taking up a table. We were sitting at the bar just like everybody else who was drinking at the bar. Our bill came to $90. We had two burgers, an appetizer and 2 drinks. We were told that we were comped our last two drinks, so I don’t know how our tab came to $90. My family was in the restaurant industry and this would never happen in one of their restaurants, it is just bad business to turn away new customers to satisfy your old ones. There is a good reason this place is always empty and you don't want to find out for yourself. We placed an order for only one burger for my child, and after 45 minutes, there was still no food. I told them multiple times that we were in a rush, and they kept saying five more minutes. At least two groups of people that arrived after us received their food, including burgers, way before us. The girl with short blonde hair was insulting. She commented, "feel free to leave any time," "you don't have to come back here, " etc. I cannot imagine someone hiring her in the customer service industry. The younger boy was the opposite, very polite. She packed our food in a to-go container that was falling apart and wouldn’t stay closed. I had to ask her for a bag, utensils, and napkins separately. And of course, when I opened it in the car to feed my son, the order was wrong. I specifically asked not to put anything on the burger. Of course, it was loaded, and my kid did not touch it. The meat was so undercooked. And they gave us fries instead of salad. The level of incompetence for the price they charge you is ridiculous. What a mistake to try...

Bar Aida is a gem in Larchmont! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone, warm lighting, elegant decor, and a relaxed, upscale vibe that makes it perfect for a night out.

We ordered a little bit of everything and were impressed across the board. The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly heavy. The cheeseballs were crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and dangerously addictive. We also tried the steak skewers and chicken skewers, both seasoned beautifully and served hot and fresh.

Drink wise, the watermelon margarita was a standout, refreshing, just the right amount of sweet, and a perfect summer cocktail. The mojito was equally well balanced and crisp.

The staff was welcoming, the service was smooth, and the portion sizes were just right. No leftovers, just good vibes and full bellies. Highly recommend for date nights, small groups, or anyone looking for great food and even better drinks in...
