We are new to the area, and had gotten take out here a couple of times. The food is decent enough to come back. HOWEVER, I took my son in for lunch this week around 1pm (still lunch time) expecting to get the slice special. I looked at the pizza in the warmer, and it looked old and disgusting. When I commented on the way it looked, the cashier suggested I just buy my own pizza because they'll actually make that fresh. I've been in the restaurant business my whole life and couldn't imagine suggesting that to a customer. She also wrote down my order and took my money wearing gloves. I should have walked out then, but being hungry and not wanting to get my son back in and out of the carseat, I stayed. My son sat at the counter watching the man make pizza (without gloves). My son is three so he was all over the counter. My salad was ready first, and after I started eating it, I noticed the wooden bowl they served it in had two large cracks almost to the bottom of the bowl and was chipping in one place. This is against health code, and those cracks, especially in a wooden bowl, is an optimal place for bacteria growth. I handed it back to 3 or 4 people at the counter stating I should have never been served out of that. They all agreed, but did not offer to rectify the situation at all (new salad, refund, something else-nothing offered at all). Then I watch a lady prepare lettuce at the same counter my 3 y.o. was just smearing his little toddler hands all over (where the have bar stools, so the public can sit. I wasn't letting my son into their prep area.), and throw it into a disgusting looking bucket. I also watched the same pizza guy bent over the counter and nibbling on his fingernails when he wasn't busy, and on his phone (we all know how dirty phones are). I also watched, again with gloves on, a lady look into the coolers that everyone and anyone who walks into the place can touch then go behind the counter and rest her hand INSIDE the hand washing sink (still with gloves on, which I'm assuming they aren't changing) while she talked with another employee. Low and behold, about an hour later, I was sick from eating half my salad. If you care at all about health and cleanliness, RUN from...
Read moreI went in there with my fiancé and nephew and we were in line waiting next be be severed and then this dad and his kids walk in and walk right in front of us to look at slices which is fine but they saw us in line and then the cashier who saw us waiting in line looks at us with a smirk then looks at them and start asking them what they wanted to order which when we were waiting in line next. Then we finally got up to the register I asked what was the special was and she goes ( well didn’t you read the board) and I said I glanced at it and then I started to order and asked what wings they had and she goes there up there and points to the broad behind her ( which the wings weren’t even near where she pointed and to be honest I never found them on the menu) there broad is very unorganized it’s a chalkboard very hard to read. I’m just very disappointed in the horrible service. I went today sep 10th around like 1:30. All through the service was horrible the food was very good the only reason this review has three stars is...
Read moreI’ve ordered a few times in-store, and tonight ordered delivery for the first time. Pizza and garlic bread for the kids. A salad and wings for me. Usually my wing-eating partner eats the flats in an order, while I eat the drummers, but he’s out of town. Personally, I think flats are nasty no matter how crispy/hot/spicy they are so I requested all drummers knowing most restaurants hate accommodating that request, and Pasquale’s did deny the request. No big deal, I ordered ad-is and figured I’ll eat the drummers and freeze the flats for later.
Delivery arrived really fast, less than a half hour, driver was friendly and the order was correct. To my surprise - the wing order WAS all drummers! It made my day, and they were really really good.
Everything else...
