China Rose — Restaurant in Town of Marlborough

I use to like this place a few years ago. Hadn't been, in a while and went once during the pandemic. Food was not as good as I remembered but I figured with the craziness of the pandemic everyone deserved a little grace. Went today for the first time in almost a year and was very disappointed. Prices were much higher (I'm assuming due to increased food prices since the pandemic). A large shrimp lo mein and order of fried chicken wings cost me $16. Ouch! The chicken wings were pitiful, they were 4 small wings that looked like they came from cornish hens and were hard and dry. The Lo Mein was dry with almost no veggies just noodles and a handful of tiny dry shrimp. I was so disappointed I called to let them know the quality of the food was poor thinking maybe they would apologize and offer a discount on my next order or something to compensate. They said if I didn't like the food I don't have to come back! So, that's exactly what I'll do, never go back to China rose! Wish I could give...

China Rose is a gem in Marlboro! I just sampled two dissimilar dishes; Green beans with chicken, and a Thai delight, Pad Thai also with chicken- both were above average with generously sized pieces of tender and moist chicken. The sauce on both was flavorful and delicious. I finally got a chance to get in there despite the pouring rain and thunder! They are closed Sundays so get there any other day and be delighted with the quality and friendly service - they are very efficiently run and operated by a young local...

Absolutely absurd that they don't deliver, or at least deal with GrubHub, ect.!!! Wish I could say below in this review that I got it delivered, but it's apparently not possible. Called 3 times to ask if they could deliver to Western Ave.

I live in CT, and it was going to my ex-wife and my children! Would have spent a bit of money because my kids aren't feeling...
