The only thing angry is that you will be angry with yourself for not going here sooner. Tucked at the end of a multi tenant commercial building, up a hill on 9w in Marlboro NY, this family turns out the most amazing food (more on that later), but also shows what a family that works together can achieve. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a group of sisters and their mom who seamlessly run the restaurant while their youngest sister is the main chef and their dad is is the sous chef. Entering is like arriving into their family's dining room and you leave like you have been related for generations. The food is incredible. We started with warm bread served with whipped butter and olive oil. The house salad is a fresh mix of lettuce, mozzarella balls, chick peas, peppers, onions, tomatoes and delicious homemade dressing. Our entrees far exceeded out expectations and were the largest portions we ever saw. Fettuccine Michaelangelo was topped with a huge lobster tail, delicious shrimp and crab meat in a brandy cream sauce. There was no skimping on the seafood here. Meanwhile, my meal could have fed a family of 4; chicken vodka parm with rigatoni topped with fresh creamy burrata. Everything was delicious. They take such pride in cooking high quality ingredients from scratch to traditional Italian favorites. It's the family reunion you cannot wait to return to (after you finish...

After my 8 or 9th visit to the Angry Chef, I am realizing how grossly irresponsible it has been of me to have not written a rave review for this restaurant immediately after my first special meal here. After so many visits with plenty of different friends and family joining us, we have been fortunate enough to sample a generous portion of their menu. At this point we have recognized that there is no meal we don’t like, just some that are more difficult to say no to when the time comes to order (looking at you Drunken Fries and Chicken Vodka).

The staff has never failed to be anything less than stellar. From the time we step through the door to the moment we leave, we experience nothing but genuine warmth and kindness and true appreciation that we choose to dine with them tonight. While the back of the house demonstrates this through the culinary experience we enjoy on our plates, our hostess and servers commit themselves fully to ensuring our dining desires are met. The hostess and in particular Lola, a server we often are fortunate enough to have, are determined to make sure we know we are appreciated.

This establishment has set such a meaningful and impressive tone for the Town of Marlboro and dare I say the...

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant of all time!! I’ve been here for Christmas Eve, Easter, Mother’s Day, and just as a regular every week. The food gets better every time, the service is absolutely amazing. They never higher their prices for holidays- unlike other places. No other restaurant near or far comes close to the angry chef, and I’ve been everywhere. I drive 45 minutes to get here, and it is so beyond worth it. The staff is amazing, and amazing does not begin to explain the food. Their vodka sauce is to die for, the chicken Frances- fabulous! The best clams I’ve ever had, words don’t describe this place. They deserve all the success in the world! If you are looking for top notch food- this is it. They truly appreciate ur business, service is perfect and the food is the best I’ve ever had, what more can you want from a restaurant? Love love love the...

Wow, just wow! I ordered a Cabonara linguine with steak and boy, was this amazingly perfected! The steak was jus so soft like butter. My wife and I also had the bruschetta for an appetizer and that was so good and fresh! My wife had the Caprese sandwich and that also was very good as well! First time here and the staff were so friendly and inviting. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well as the choice of music which was light hearted. We had such a wonderful experience and we will be returning!!!! Hats off to the Chef!! ❤️

The food is very, very delicious and good quality! They also have GF options. Nice atmosphere, the service was excellent. It's BYOB for now, which is great on the check. We met the family at the end of the night (see photo).... They were so kind and had a lot of questions about the HV and the community. They commute from NJ and are looking to eventually set their roots in our area. All the daughters (5) work there, and one of them is the chef! Good luck and welcome to the Hudson Valley.
