We always ordered from Torino's and the. Comperato was open! It was closer, so ordered our pastries from there! A few Easter’s ago, we went in on a Saturday and ordered a lot of pastry as we were going to someone’s the next day, being Easter! They asked for our phone number and told us they were closing by a certain time on Easter to please come before that time! I went 40 minutes before I was told they were closing and they were closed! When I called after Easter and explained the situation, I was told by the owners wife it was up to me to call them??? What iis wrong with this picture? They closed early and put the blame on me! Not only are the pastries, breads and cookies always very tasty and attractive, but Comparettos also does a really nice job on the preparation of their coffee/espresso beverages, especially their lattes and cappuccinos, which I tend to be rather discerning about :)

The ambiance is welcoming, also, if you’d like to sit down for a bit to enjoy your beverage and/or baked yumminess. The ladies serving the customers are very busy, but not so much that they don’t take the time to be courteous...
