Trotta's House of Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Mount Pleasant

We were led to the right place. Why? We had to find freshly made Cannelloni. I took a ride to this pasta house and they had three packages waiting for me and I was told had to cook them. Our dinner party went perfect and these meat and cheese Cannellonis were spectacular. When you walk in the store you smell the aroma of all the Italian foods that are baked or prepared and I must admit it was wonderful. They've got it all and they deal with a smile. I stopped in on Wednesday for a fresh loaf of Italian bread, some of the best around. Not sure what it is, but you cannot get bread like this in many places.

I also purchased their fresh, large cheese ravioli, which my family and I love. Their pre-prepared frozen pasta meals are very good as well. I usually pick up their homemade penne alla vodka or the homemade lasagna for when I don't have time to cook. Always a hit.

Bought a Calabrian Chili oil and fresh black pepper pasta. Both were 100% on point. Used the black pepper pasta to make a cacio and pepe dish. Owner and counter help were very nice and helpful. Food was great. I would have bought a couple of their sauces if they were jarred in glass rather than plastic. Will be my go to spot for home made pasta from here on out. Ace in the hole...
