WORST FOOD RUDE BEHAVIOUR UNHYGIENIC
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at India Grill in food court at Fashion outlet, Niagarafalls, NY. and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to WARN others.
Firstly, the food was the worst, and the dishes seemed poorly prepared. Even basic items like naan ( it was frozen pita bread not naan ) and curries were a letdown, leaving much to be desired. It felt as though the kitchen lacked any understanding of Indian cuisine, which is disappointing for a restaurant that claims to specialize in it.
Equally upsetting was the service. The staff exhibited extremely rude behaviour, which only compounded the frustration of an already disappointing meal. When we raised our concerns about the food, we were met with dismissive comments instead of an effort to address the issues. It's never pleasant to be made to feel unwelcome in a dining establishment, but unfortunately, this was our experience.
Additionally, hygiene standards were appalling. Preparing tables were sticky, the floor was dirty, and there seemed to be a general neglect of cleanliness, which only heightened my discomfort during the visit. In conclusion, my visit to India Grill was nothing short of a disaster. With the combination of terrible food, rude service, lack of hygiene, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and consider dining elsewhere; there are plenty of restaurants out there that truly value their customers and deliver a quality food and...
Read moreIf there is any no or negative star option I would give that for this place. Do not come here after looking at the reviews. They some how managed to get around 70 reviews in a month. We came to this place after looking at 70 good reviews. We were so hungry and was exited to have some authentic Indian food. We ordered “Veggie thaali/plate”, paneer tikka masala, aloo prantha for kid, garlic naan and salad. #1 They are trying to attract you by saying that their thaali is $9.99. — -so, if you are hungry please do not order this or order 2 thaali’s for 1 person. -in this plate the portions are kid size -the naan they gave was not fresh, tasted like burnt pappad. -the dessert (gulab jamun) in that thaali was sour. #2 Then they gave us aloo prantha for kid. Again, I really don’t know how to describe how bad that aloo prantha was. It was like a pappad, no potato filling and burnt. #3 we got paneer tikka masala but the server said we did not order that. We did not wanted to argue with him since he was an elderly man. so, we ordered naan AGAIN. By the time naan came our paneer masala was cold.
So, that is my experience. I don’t recommend this place and would never come to...
Read moreI eat here once in a while and while the food is good overall, there are some things I don't like about the buffet:
The Chicken TIkka Masala is never roasted in the tandoor the way it's supposed to be, so it tastes weird.
They need a new butter chicken recipe because the one they're using is tasteless. It's not even worth eating.
They rarely have a basic Chicken Curry on the buffet. That's a basic dish that you would expect to be on an Indian buffet but they almost never have it. Instead they have Vindaloo or Kahadi neither of which are very good.
They charge almost $7 for a Mango Lassi. That is crazy. A Mango lassi shouldn't be more than $3 or $4 dollars TOPS.
The yellow pakora is just yellow sauce and onions, it's not spiced well and there are no fritter chunks.
They have some weird form of chicken wings, they need to take that off the buffet. If you're going to have chicken wings in an Indian restaurant you should be having red Tandoori wings in a VERY light sauce on the side.
Having puri on the buffet would be nice. It stays edible longer than naan and the waitress won't have to spend so much time going back into the kitchen...
