I am not the type to put bad reviews or share negative experiences, i would normally shrug it off but the experience that I had at this place on a Sunday morning was terrible. Me and my wife went to have some breakfast and immediately the lady at the counter put up a blunt face and greeted us in a discourteous manner. Well I guess we didn't blend in with the other people in the place at the time of the visit. The word 'racism' was written all over her face while taking our order and acted like she wanted us out of the place quick. Staring at us into our eyes and telling us I can't help you with the coffee without telling me what goes into it from asking us you guys are not gonna stay? I mean seriously lady, learn some manners from your employees there who at least put up a smile upon seeing the customers. I am definitely sharing this with our work group who always place big orders. You will see all kinds of people in NY from different backgrounds to different colors; if you can't stand them then look elsewhere to run the business. I am sorry but I am heavily disappointed by...
Read moreOur office has been ordering religiously from Harry's every Saturday for the past 8 years (adds up to about $25,000). Even through different hiccups: long waits for deliveries (resulting in food arriving cold), missing items, and rude staff on the phone, we continued ordering (more out of convenience). But today was our last: I ordered pancakes, specifically asking for extra butter and syrup on the side. The order arrived with no butter. I called to complain and the smart aleck answered that I didn't need butter because the pancakes were already "BUTTERMILK"...I told him my expectations as a longtime customer would be an answer to the tune of "we apologize"... He sassily answered "no...the proper answer to you is...." I didn't even bother listening to his rubbish, I informed him that we would never order from...
Read morenever going back here, the sign outside says " bagel with coffee $6.99, all day special", i believe it was $5.99 before the egg shortage and they never changed it since the prices of eggs came down, gave the gentleman a $10 bill and he gave me back $0.25. I was on the phone so he probably thought i wasn't paying attention. I asked him how's it $9.75 when it says $6.99? he took my quarter back then gave me back $1.32, still doesn't make any sense. $6.99 plus tax should be roughly $7.60 (i may be off a little) so how's it costing me $8.68? I don't care about the $1 overcharge its the principal of scamming customers, but thank you for doing your best to retain your loyal customers Harry and the hilltop family. I will not be returning and will be letting the local...
