I came here for tacos, quesadillas, and tamales… and I have to say, this place truly stands out. Having lived in the Bronx, where there are plenty of excellent taco spots, I wasn’t new to good Mexican food, but Don Paco exceeded my expectations. The quesadilla was especially outstanding. The purple tortillas, chicken, and cheese just blends so well. The tacos were equally impressive. My wife is usually very particular about steak in tacos and doesn’t tolerate gaminess, but the meat here was tender, flavorful, and has the quality. Same can be said for tamales, which is honestly something I wish I could get on weekdays too. But it’s only on weekends. Overall, what keeps us coming back is not just taste but the attention and dedication that go into individual ingredients which was hard to find in other taco places. It’s rare to find a spot where everything feels so thoughtfully prepared.

I've known Panadería Don Paco in Sunset Park since 1998. The Lopez family, who owns it, is hardworking and wonderful. I've attended the opening of their new café, and I'm proud of my friend Paco, the owner. He's one of the most caring people I know, and I've known him for 18 years. His dedication to keeping the traditional Mexican bread from Puebla alive is admirable. This new place in Westuby it's beautiful. His bread and tortas are amazing. Wishing you all the best, Paco, and God bless you always. Familia Rodriguez te quiere! We are so proud of you!!

Legendary Brooklyn baker Don Paco López has finally opened a Long Island outpost. This is the same bakery that was immortalized at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and has a cult following for its conchas, tamales and milanesa and pierna tortas. The Westbury location is also tended by members of Don Paco López’ family so quality is guaranteed. The bread is fresh, made daily (by hand). I had an order or Bavarian cream-filled churros for a school event and they were a smashing hit. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
