I’m writing a great review for Hussain! I placed an Uber eats order and was not sure which cake to choose for my friends birthday. He was so helpful, kind, professional and gave me a great suggestion which was the Cadbury Cake because she loves chocolate. After placing my order on Uber Eats, I realized I placed it with the elmont location and I called Hussain back and he ensured that the cake that I wanted would be placed and delivered. When it arrived at my friends house, she informed me that the cake was perfect! And the best part, she loved it! My friend is the pickiest person you will ever meet. When she says she loved it, it means the cake was out of this world good. I truly appreciate Hussain and for helping me out that day when I didn’t even end up ordering directly at his store. Cupcakes were divine! Moist cake with airy cream. We tried 4. The ones we tried tasted exactly how they were labeled. In all honesty we didn’t like one of them, but that was more of a personal flavor thing. So can’t be held against them. The other three were great. Parking seems awful because of the main road, but after finding a spot around the block, we realized they have a few parking spots available on the backside of the building. It’s not cheap, but as a specialty place I suppose that’s expected. They also had an assortment of brownies that looked delicious, but we didn’t try them. My only negative feedback is that the place seems very “blah” when you walk in. Almost to a point that we thought about turning right around and not getting anything. I am currently a student at NYIT Old Westbury, and have been going to this bakery a bunch. I am going there for the fourth time this semester for a cake. I wanted to get a cake from NY to bring to my parents in NJ for their anniversary. My parents enjoyed how moist and consistent the Rafaello cake was. It was a cake pretty much made for them, because it tasted great. Personally, I am not a fan of coconut, but the skills of these bakers can move anyone to liking something that is not in their interest. I plan on going there tomorrow for a cake for my dad's birthday. I am confident that they won't disappoint.
