My partner and I placed orders on the same evening. We were both new customers and she was excited by some of the wines she found and the prices. After getting our initial confirmation email, we never heard back -- up the delivery day. We had to call 3 separate times, and each time they customer service person was friendly, but unable to access my account -- she said it had been sent to the fraud department and someone would call me back within 48 hours. No one ever called. We did this 2 more times, this time asking for the order to be cancelled. The agent said she was unable to do that. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and they were unable to locate one. Again she said someone would call in 48 hours. No one called. Then I got an email stating that the order had been cancelled due to "fraud risk" and they would not accept any further orders. No explanation. I am fine with not ordering from them, but it wasted hours of my day for these 3 separate phone calls.
You would do better to purchase wine from a more reputable seller, with better customer service. We will go back to ordering from Astor...
