I was attempting to order $300 worth of gift cards in multiple of $15. The national subway promotion is purchase $25 in gift cards ( plural) receive a 6" sub free. Upon reading the promotional details it appears that there is a limit of 4 free subs per order. Which would translate to me, for $100 in gift cards ordered there would be 4 free 6" subs. When the very nice woman working at the location attempted to contact the owner on this kind of order she was informed that the amount of gift card (singular) promotion was for $25 increments. The person on the phone stated she spoke with the owner on this concern. All advertising states; purchase $25 in gift cards ( again plural). I was told they would not honor my request. This is the same location that I have purchased large amount of gift cards in previous years and never was there an issue. My attempt was to shop local, to keep dollars within Spencerport but I could not complete the transaction for the gift cards knowing other Subway restaurants would welcome a $300 sale. I placed an online order, so theoretically my in-store impact should have been minimal, yet the staff acted annoyed by my mere presence as I walked in to the otherwise empty store, said hello, received no response in return, checked the mobile order rack and didn’t find my order and then proceeded to approach the front counter. Only then did the lady behind the counter manage to muster up the energy to address me and very condescendingly asked “are you all set?”.
