Pineway Ponds Park — Attraction in Town of Ogden

Went here to attend a special event w my 2 kids; they were going to play a movie in the park and have gaga ball to play. Well they never actually had Gaga ball to play and at 930pm after everyone finally showed up on their blankets and lawn chairs they just decided to cancel the movie. They never announced it was canceled, I only knew because ppl started leaving. When I asked why the movie was canceled we were told the “ground was too wet and they predicted that a rain storm was coming”. The grass was dry as could be and it never rained; it wasn’t predicted by ANYONE and in fact it never occurred. Even my 9 y/o knew it didn’t make sense and thinks the screen was broken but they couldn’t admit it. I have to say it seemed that way to me also. Nothing made sense, if you plan on canceling an event do it sooner than later and announce it at the event. Needless to say it was my first time at the park and we weren’t impressed. Bad Pineway Ponds...

Every year I come to this park with friends and all of our children. It is a safe place for kids. There is a water park with little mini area for younger children. There is a regular park close to parking lot with soft flooring. There are multiple fields to play soccer, baseball and any other family sport. There are grills everywhere with tables to do a cookout. It is set up so you can see your children well from multiple areas. There's also a basketball court right next to restrooms that are pretty well kept. They have about four toilet seats....mirros...two sinks...and actual soap in the women's...I am not sure about the boys restroom...but I assume something similar. I recommend to anyone who wants to go somewhere safe...clean and respectable with...

If anyone is looking to come to the spray park in Spencerport @ Pineway Ponds.. don't waste your time. My 7 year old grandson and I use to love coming here, we spent most of our summers here, but we came here today for the first time this summer and its ruined! So they have taken out ALL the things for older kids and the jets that use to spray up fromthe ground, and made it into a "baby" splash park!! Small sprays and dribbles of water. Tons of babies here! It is horrible.. first the last time we will be here. Will NOT come back. We drive a good 25 minutes each way and will now be looking for a spray parks geared towards ALL ages of kids and not just babies. What a waste of...
