We had a very brief (30 minutes), but wonderful, visit here today. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, telling us the history of the canal and of the museum building. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! We hope to return the next time that we're in town, so that we can properly explore the canal and the area. If you get a...

Always best to come by boat. The lift bridge in Spencerport is being refurbished this summer and is locked in the up position. This is good for canal passage, but no auto traffic over the bridge. This is bad for local business and restaurants. Please stop for lunch or dinner as...

Just plain nice. A small museum with interesting exhibits. The director is very kind with explanation of the history of the area. For boaters, great bathroom and shower, easy tie up, with electric, and water. This is a laied back boat stop with restaurants,...
