The Pearl River Hotel — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

Taylor Sheehan is the absolute rudest bartender I’ve ever had. I have been here many times, and I will never be back. She did not comprehend that on a REALL New Jersey id it says in red on the top “Not for Real Id Purposes “ which is there for flying. If she was a smart person and have seen a Jersey ID once she would have know what that meant. Just because we look young but are absolutely of our age, she immediately did not like us and treated us rudely. My friends that she turned away left , but I witnessed her talk crap about my friends to other customers about their IDs that were real. (They are turning 24 this year btw). Worst experience I’ve ever had at a bar with a bartender. She was so incredibly rude and entitled and was already cursing and swearing behind the bar before we went up. Mind you the bouncer checked our ids before we went in and she wanted to check them again and we gladly gave them to her. She should absolutely be fired. Worst experience ever. Never coming back here again. Walked in and one of the pool tables is out of order, the other pool table is occupied by a bunch of very rowdy obnoxious people. We sat down at the bar and the bartender wasn't too friendly to say the least. The drunk people at the pool table kept pounding on something and making crazy noise and neither of the bartenders cared to tell them to stop. Then a bunch of guys, who were also clearly locals walked in and, I'm not even joking, reeked of sewage. The brown kind. They sat next to us at the bar and we had to move immediately because we couldn't even breathe it was so disgusting. I don’t know her name but based off the other reviews I assume it is Taylor. She had an attitude the second my friends and I walked in. We walked in and she rudely refused to serve us because we had “too many out of state IDs” and believed none of them were real. She was soooo rude, cursing at us and totally dismissive. We are all 26 y/o. I grew up the town over but I moved to Massachusetts and I came back home for my 26th birthday with my friends from mass and a couple from New Jersey.
