Generous portions of delicious food at great prices with cheerful and friendly service in a tastefully decorated cozy space. What more can one want from a little cafe that exceeds all your expectations? My daughter and I found ourselves in the Pearl River post office one day. We saw this cafe across the road and decided to give it a try. I was hungry so I chose the "Mistletoe Benedict" on their holiday season menu. My daughter was not hungry so she picked the "Frickles" (batter fried pickles with aioli dip) snack. When my dish turned up I was quite amazed that there was about an entire avocado sliced on top of at least a dozen stalks of asparagus! We wouldn't have gotten such a generous serving of freshness for the listed price in any other establishment that we frequent in this area. Same goes for the Frickles - daughter commented that they really supplied her with the money's worth of pickles :-). The eggs were flawlessly poached, the Hollandaise sauce was just the right thickness and amount (it's so easy to over do it), and every bite was perfect. What a nice way to warm up our stomachs and hearts during the holiday season! Will definitely go back for other items on the menu!

Everything about this place is fantastic. You won't find anyone else like Amanda, John, & Kerri here. They all know me by my name. The only thing I can't get past is the extreme entitlement of the customers that come here. People brush past me, or even see me struggling to get through the door while they are in the way, and cannot be bothered to move. And when I go "excuse me," I am met with frowns, lol. Today was the second time someone did that to me - frown when I walked past them being in the way as I wait for my turn to order while they take 5 minutes standing and chatting away with the cashier, as if no other customers were waiting. It's not mean necessarily, but inconsiderate. I really don't wish for any issues here. I wish people in this town who equally enjoy CD cafe as much as me would practice spatial awareness more. It's the Cafe Diem way to walk away happy!! As long as I am welcome here, I will continue to support CD cafe!

*Came here for a free event and this review is based on that* Thank you to Café Diem, Marietta, and Yelp for a super fun evening of food and meeting new friends. We started the night with a cocktail each (orange chocolate espresso martini and grapefruit margarita) and both were delicious! The martini was my favorite though. Throughout the night we had many samples from the tasting menu including: a charcuterie board, shrimp cocktail, bruschetta, chicken wings, shrimp and vegan tacos, calamari, mini sausage roll, and chicken sliders. Everything was delicious and all of the staff was so friendly! Honestly there was so much going on that I didn’t even remember to take pictures of everything. I had so much fun and will definitely be back, maybe even with the new friends we made!

Cafe Diems definitely offer some tasty food compared to the other food places around the area. From their protein wrap to their meatloaf and chicken caesar salad wrap, I’ve partaken in a variety of their dishes, including a few beverages, and found all to be good.

However, this particular comment addresses a recent unfortunate incident. Earlier today, I placed an order for a protein wrap via UberEATS. Upon collection, I was handed scrambled eggs separately, with the wrap on the side. When I pointed out the error to the waitress, rather than apologize, she responded with argumentation. Seeking resolution, I requested to speak with the manager. To my dismay, she too exhibited a similar discourteous demeanor. Regrettably, I cannot recall her name. I felt compelled to suggest that their staff might benefit from additional training in customer service etiquette.

What further disheartened me was the marked difference in the manner they treated other patrons compared to myself. The cafe, predominantly frequented by white guests, often resonates with warm greetings and genuine smiles. However, my personal experiences have often felt more cold and detached. Is it because of my skin color, I wonder?

This observation is in stark contrast to my experiences with, , their evening staff. A waiter, possibly named John, is notably very professional and would easily earn a perfect rating from me. He can be compared to the best out there.

It’s unfortunate that the team, particularly the female manager and the aforementioned waitress, exhibit such discourteous behavior.

Great decoration , potential to the best cafe , but with...

Our waitress was nice and food was ok, however after the restaurant refused to give us separate checks for being a “larger” party. The website used for their payments gave my friends I different total amounts causing the bill to be uneven. There was still a remaining balance and we called over our waitress to help resolve the issue. She was really sweet but also confused about why there was a remaining balance since it showed we all paid. She called over the manager, who was extremely unprofessional, and assumed we were lying about paying. After we told her over and over again that two members of our party paid together, while everyone else paid individually she accused them of not paying and yelled at them. After she finally figured out we weren’t lying, she refunded us and we all paid again. She was clear she was not going to give us separate checks, so she charged us all the same amount of $22 to pay the full balance. This entire situation was handled extremely poorly, and my friends and I understand it’s hard on the restaurants end when a situation like this occurs, but to sit there and yell and a group of teenagers and assume we did not pay after we clearly did is extremely...
