By far the absolute most amazing strawberry 🍓 shortcake! ....we tried it at the Strawberry Festival and we're so glad to see that we're keeping it as a regular menu item! I only give 4 stars because upon ordering a Strawberry Shortcake I simply asked for one extra butter cake piece.. I was charged the price of an ENTIRE sundae!! The night before I had come with my family.. 5 people.. 3 sundaes and 2 bowls of ice cream $26 and change... just 2 days later I go with my daughter bc she was really wanting one... just her and I.. 2 Strawberry Shortcake's.. $26 and change!!!! I was a bit shocked to say the least, kind of disappointed of you will. Great place none the less...... ....UPDATE... So, I find myself back in the area this past weekend w/ my family so of course we stop back in excited to get the deelish strawberry shortcake sundae! To our dismay however things got a little sticky. The sheer confusion over simply adding 1 extra cake became quite irritating sadly.... I was surly given the extra cake...2 cakes in a large cup with a single, VERY small dollop of strawberry and ice cream.... completely dry cakes.... I was shocked to seemy daughters regular was literally dry too! I guess I am just confused and disappointed even more so now that really a simple 5hing has turned into quite costly mistakes and long trips to not get at all what we hoped for. On my way back through Owego, I stopped at Ice Cream Works! They had a lot more than I expected. This is not just an ice cream stand (although, that is a specialty here and sure, we’re not complaining)! They also have subs made with Boars Head! There’s a variety of ice cream option from Perry’s, there’s some that they make all their own as well. One that I got is NY potholes. They get us on the highway anyway, might as well try the ice cream. It was delicious! It was chocolate with dark chocolate cookie crumbles, a white chocolate drizzle mixed in and tiny chocolate chips. I also had rainbow sprinkles on mine. They offer boozy ice cream options including one that features Screwball peanut butter whiskey. They have a selection of other classic ice cream options as well, such as shakes, ice cream sandwiches and so much more. They also have some outdoor seating, even little stations around their beams if you need to stand and have a spot to rest your ice cream. They accept...

I LOVED this place and the workers which gave amazing customer service but the portions were smaller than I expected. I got sundaes and I don’t think I got enough for nearly paying $8 per sundae. I’ve been to other places in NYS which give way more for a sundae of this price. The sundaes were delicious otherwise. Hopefully portions get bigger for sundaes in the future! Edit: To clarify, I got a brownie sundae and there’s a nice piece of brownie under the ice cream. My review still stands about the price as many other ice cream places in the region give more ice cream whether it’s soft serve or hard for brownie sundaes. However, it’s still delicious and I will come back to try other products! Added one more star due to the business...
