Asian Buffet — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

First of all, I was tempted to leave soon as I walked in. My car was saying it was 83 degrees outside and the place didn't have any air conditioning on. If they did it was set too low to make a difference. I even saw one of the table monitors fan herself. 2nd...Ok, maybe this gripe stems from my being there for lunch, but the buffet itself really didn't have many choices. Also about the food, I've been to my share of Asian restaurants and there are usually at least a few dishes that make me say wow, this is great! Sorry, not here. The food was merely average and truth is though I saw steam rise from the hot table, everything I had was luke warm. Now I will say the place appeared reasonably clean, though its style is dated, 90s Buffet look.. And the lady bussing the table was great. Attentive without being intruding. Actually she was the only thing that was above standard. She's the only reason I give them 2 stars. If you just want someplace to run in and grab a bite it gets the job done, but don't expect...

I do not like writing reviews that simply put places down or magnify their failures but this place literally disgusted me and I figured I'd shed some light. In my eyes Rule#1 in a buffet is to keep away from the sushi. I go here knowing the cost for the food is dirt cheap and they aren't going to bring in high quality raw fish. I'll give them that. But when your fried fish tastes like it's been reheated in a microwave 3 or 4 times it's kind of hard to even chew on it. There is no attempt there to keep any fresh food which means they do not care for their customers. I could have saved the $20...

@8pm last night.I was determined to have A Nice Chinese Buffet "All You Can Eat" meal so I drove 31 miles HUNGRY didn't eat all day and when I got there everything there dried out and it said on line $1299 a plate however, it was $1599 a plate. 😷 for dinner somehow that was the lunch price waitress said.
