Bango — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Bango Bowls new location in Plainview is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always makes sure you feel welcome. Service is quick and efficient, but never rushed, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. The food is absolutely outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-notch. Every dish is prepared with care, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The menu has something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, something lighter, or just a quick snack. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the value you get is unbeatable. What I love most is the consistency, no matter when I go, the quality and service are always excellent. The place is spotless, comfortable, and has a great energy that makes you want to come back again and again. I understand this place is new but 10-15 min for a açaí bowl is ridiculous. There are usually at least 3 girls working here and why it takes so long is anyone’s guess. The other patrons here at the time I was here all seemed annoyed at how long it was taking. Worse though, is that a medium açaí has such a small amount of açaí in it, that’s it’s almost comical. They pack it with granola and even have a hole in the middle a la White Castle to even further reduce the amount of açaí they give. Customers aren’t that stupid. Paying $12 for that amounts to the amount of açaí given in a kids size bowl at competitor’s locations and that won’t cut it. Sorry, it’s too bad as it is in a convenient location to me and I would have been happy to frequent this place as opposed to some competitors whom I have kind of gotten sick of. But for the price and quantity, playa literally gives you double the amount of açaí and it comes...

This place isn't going to last long. The amount of fruit they give you is minimal. Last night I stopped by and picked up a bowl for dinner. When I got to my location to eat it.I discovered there was no fruit at all. WHOOPS! When i returned today.I showed them the picture and the receipt. They agreed to make me another. I asked them if they could change it to a large since I had to come back and was left without dinner last night. The manager declined. I guess I need to find a new place.
