This is one of the oldest Gurudwara in NEW YORK, This Sikh temple is one of the most breathing and spacious temple in NEW YORK where devotees come and pray for themselves and their families. After being renovated till 2017 devotees come and offer prayers and everyday visit and perform volunteer services on daily basis to keep the temple clean and hygienic.
Food is cooked and served by their staff (sevadars) with the help of volunteers every day. The prayers are sung everyday from 05:30 am in Morning till 09:00 pm at night. The Temple's ministers and administration comprises of very knowledgeable and serving people from the community who serve at their best. Apart from having their professional life separate, they devote time and money for this volunteer service for the best of human kind. Here you will find equality among every religion amd every person. No discrmination of culture or caste.

Read moreIt's a very beautiful Gurudwara. The kirtan was very good. It has lots of chairs in the Diwan hall for the elderly and the disabled. The Langer hall is in the basement, it has tables and chairs too. The restrooms are also in the basement. In this Gurudwara it is advisable not to wear socks and cover your head with fabric (patka) provided there but don't wear caps.
