Chen’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

This take-out is under new ownership, and I commend them for updating the store and now accepting credit. The portions were large but I was extremely disappointed in the quality. The old owners always provided excellent quality poultry. My most recent visit, the Sesame chicken was tough and inedible and had to throw it out. The chicken and broccoli was also not all that good. I have not tried most of the menu so I cannot say anything. I did notice that chicken with eggplant is no longer available. Staying with my brother-in-law and had just flown in from Florida and had a late lunch. So we were looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area. Strictly a takeout restaurant that has a couple of tables in the waiting area. Everything in behind plexiglass.

Not sure of the other reviews. This place was filthy with the previous owners and food was disgusting. I ordered there one time and the ribs looked like they had been sitting in grease for weeks and the chicken was slimy. I threw it out. The new owners cleaned the place up and the food is good.
