Let me start off by saying that i waited 2 days since visiting this place before posting this because i had such a bad experience that i did not want my anger to taint the review. That said, if youre the type of person that enjoys setting up lawn furniture in your mechanic's parking lot and eating while watching your vehicle being serviced then this is the place for you. The seating is in the middle of the parking lot for a working marina and most people probably have better quality lawn furniture in their backyards. It is obvious that this place is a marina first and the food is an afterthought. The place is understaffed and the waitresses seem over worked. They were actually the best employees though and i felt bad that they had to work under the conditions i experienced. It took a while to get the food and when i got my fried shrimp (only 6 medium sized shrimp with a few fries) there was no cocktail sauce. I tried to get a waitress's attention but to no avail as they were busy at other tables. No big deal, i figured i would just go to the counter where the cook is and take out is ordered from and get some myself. I politely asked the cook for some sauce and was met with a hard "NO". I paused for a second and gave the cook a confused look to which he angrily replied "Ask your waitress, they make all the money around here". Stunned that this man apparently thought that asking for something he provides to every person who orders at the counter was an affront to his honor i replied "seriously?". It was at this point he condescendingly repeated me, "seriously!" while projecting the body language like he wanted to get physical about it. I turned to an employee who was standing next to me doing nothing and he shrugged as if to say "i dont know what to tell you". Since i was with company and didnt want to escallate things any further i went back to my seat where i stood for over 5 minuites until i could get a waitress to come over. I asked the girl to please get a manager or owner to talk to because of what happened. She said no problem and went over to the guy who was standing next to me watching his staff disrespect customers. Apperently this person is in charge In charge of what i dont know because he ignored my request to come talk about this as apparently he already saw what happened and had no problem with it. I just would up leaving without eating with my company. We couldnt believe a business was run this way. And to the cook.....If you are so unhappy at work that you need to disrespect customers then maybe you should go find another job. This is America and noone is forcing you to work at a particular job and be a miserable. And to the "guy in charge" you clearly have no clue how to run a restaurant and should probably just stick to watching...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere are some places you stumble upon, and then there are places like The Clam Bar at Bridge Marine ā a true culinary gem nestled in the heart of Bayville, NY. I've had my fair share of seafood across the country, but I must say their Lobster Rolls are nothing short of legendary. Each bite is a harmonious blend of fresh, succulent lobster and perfectly balanced seasonings, wrapped in a soft, buttery roll.
Just when I thought it couldnāt get any better, I was introduced to their Corn on the Cob. Simply put, it's corn elevated to an art form. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, itās a delightful companion to the star lobster dish.
But no meal here is complete without indulging in their Key Lime Pie. Creamy, tangy, and with just the right hint of sweetness, itās the perfect finale to an unforgettable dining experience. Itās not just a pie; itās a slice of tropical heaven.
The ambiance, the service, and above all, the outstanding dishes make The Clam Bar at Bridge Marine an absolute must-visit. Whether youāre a local or just passing through Bayville, treat yourself to a dining experience that'll linger in your memories. Highly...

I didnāt ask for alcohol, I asked for a glass of tonic! No alcohol? At the bar? A bit confusing. Food was average, mostly fried. I had the crab cakes, described as ālightly breaded and friedā. They were in fact heavily encrusted, and deep-fried. Although they were tasty, they didnāt agree with my stomach. A 5oz cup of wine was the same price as a margarita or a Mojito, $14, which I thought was a little over the top! Waited for one hour before we got a table after being told it was a 25 minute wait. When we were ready to leave, we could not get under the bridge, as we had to wait for the drawbridge to open. The drawbridge website indicated the drawbridge opened upon request, but that is not true. We had to wait half an hour, after being told the bridge only opens at the top of the hour. It would have been nice to know that before hand, as we were traveling far to get home. Will not...
