I got the: -Crab Meat and Pork Soup Dumplings -Maki Combo -Mango Refresher Tea
-Glutinous Rice Cakes with Brown Sugar -Iced Vanilla Latte —————————————————— Right off the bat, I had actually ordered twice from here to go, once for the Walnut Shrimp with Special Sauce and another time for the Beef with Broccoli.
Both times were very pleasant with the Walnut Shrimp having much more orange zest than any other time I’ve ever had it, which made this very unique for me. The beef with broccoli reminds me of beef and broccoli that you’d usually get at a regular takeout place, but with more beef than broccoli (fortunately.)
As for the first time I had eaten here today (9/19/2025), it at first felt like all the other times I picked up my food here, decently calm, with barely anyone in sight. I was sat down quickly, in the classic section (they have a separate section for hibachi) and introduced me to their Chowbus tablet. From there I ordered everything I planned to order before walking in.
The Mango Refresher Tea came out very quickly, and was pleasant up until the concentrate at the bottom.
The soup dumplings came, and with it, they provide tongs, and two saucers, an empty one and one with ginger for you to add as you see fit.
The soup dumplings, upon opening the container, smelled strongly of the crab meat and the soup inside was hot but not scalding. Adding soy sauce and vinegar was nice but not necessary as the dumpling was more than capable of speaking for itself.
The Maki Combo was also good. With six slices of three rolls: Tuna, Salmon, and Yellowtail. The fish was good, didn’t taste off, and the salmon in particular was a pretty good cut that didn’t need anything else to pair with it.
It’s also worth noting that at this point, the restaurant started getting more crowded due to the evening rush, which is fine as the area was quite spacious.
As for dessert, the glutinous rice cakes were pretty good, and for my first time having them, I would definitely have them again.
All in all, the experience was very pleasant and I’d definitely eat here again! I’ll be sure to add more photos as...
Read moreI'm shocked at how off these other reviews are. It's likely because reviewers were offered free soup dumplings for a 5 star review. That is also why they have 1.5k reviews, only seen for eateries open for 30 years, while only being open for a year. It's to drown out the honest ones.
A lot of businesses play this, and the friend and family game. You want to know the truth? Start by reading the lowest rated reviews with details, and never trust any glowing ones, without text or with a couple of simple, general statements. This is not a 4.9 restaurant, this is not a 3.9 restaurant, it is hardly a 2.9 restaurant. It's not even a restaurant
I don't know what this place is. They have furniture and comfortable seating to eat your meal but it is not a restaurant. The closest example of what this is, is an electronic self service, robot run staff-less McDonald's. It has a strange, cold, unfriendly, willfully unservicable vibe.
The staff is uneducated. The busboys do not know a single word of English, including the most bare, basic restaurant terms for requests or questions, and waitresses do not know anything about the food or what is in it, disseminating inaccurate information. When they find out, the information, it's still wrong. This a huge problem for allergy sufferers
They expect you to completely, electronically place your order. They do not take your order, they do not serve your order, they do not wrap your order and they never check back to the table. It's as if they do not know what a waitress' job is and what they do, at all. A 10% tip, as one reviewer mentioned giving, is generous
Menu does not have what other Chinese establishments have and not much vegan choices. Photo depiction and descriptions are not necessarily what you receive. This establishment is strangely resistant about accepting special orders. It's clear the whole restaurant does not want to work
If you crave similiar cuisine at a restaurant, see my review for, and travel a few extra minutes to Bejiing House in Syosset or Taste of Chengdu in...
Read moreI don’t hand out 5-star reviews easily, but this place earned every single one. From the first bite to the last, I was completely blown away. Here's why:
The Dumplings? Next Level. Each one is a perfect little flavor bomb—juicy, delicate wrappers, and fillings that are clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The pork & chive dumplings were phenomenal, and the spicy beef ones? Life-changing. Don't sleep on the veggie dumplings either—they're just as flavorful and satisfying.
Made Fresh, You Can Tell. You can literally see the chefs hand-folding dumplings in the open kitchen. That kind of transparency and attention to craft is rare these days. They even make their own dipping sauces—perfectly balanced and packed with flavor.
Cozy, Clean, and Full of Character. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with modern decor and subtle traditional touches. It’s the kind of place you can come to for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends and feel right at home.
Service That Actually Cares. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. They gave great recommendations and even offered a few off-menu specials. You can tell they’re proud of the food they serve—and they should be!
Price vs. Quality = Unbeatable. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for the quality you’re getting. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.
✨ If you love dumplings—or even if you think you do—go here immediately. It's the kind of place you end up telling everyone about....
