BeaverWood Farm (no children) — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

Our Family can't say enough good things about this farm. To say farmers Paul and Marilyn are wonderful hosts would be an understatement. They are extremely friendly, energetic, and amazing people, who love and care so much for their animals. Their passion for what they do clearly shows throughout their farm. Our 14 year old Daughter loved staying there so much, that we went there twice over the Summer, and stayed in one of their cottages. She had full run of the farm, and enjoyed every animal there, especially the pigs and goats. We were able to see the entire farm right from the big picture window of our cottage. Best camping experience ever, seriously. Such a unique camping option and the owners are so so sweet, they created a whole map so you can see all of the activities. They are so welcoming and happy to answer all of your questions. The animals are well behaved and the property is so well maintained. It’s super reasonably priced and just such a fun get away. They provide kayaks and canoes for no extra charge on a beautiful lake. Fishing is awesome there caught a huge small mouth. They have bathrooms, both a composting bathroom or if that’s not your cup of tea they offer a flushing toilet too AND a shower / running water. I seriously could not...

Great freindly place, the baby goats are adorable. Lots of freedom to risk around the place, there's a shower shack where you have to start a fire for hot water, the water itself is clean clear and crisp in the hot summer heat there's an out house that surprisingly doesn't stink, and an outhouse with flushing water, the fire wood is free and there's a nice open field. The animals will wander into your camping areas and then you will have a really close encounter. The ONLY downside is the animal patties that are strewn all over the ground, but it IS a farm so what can you expect. Great place to visit definetly recommend. Pick up...
