Our family unfortunately had to stay here after Hurricane Sandy hit and we had no electricity at home. Horrible place to stay but had the only vacancy around. My husband, myself and our 2 year old child rented a room for one night because it was too cold to stay in our house without heat. Our room was completely outdated, smelled of too much air freshener, and the red carpet was ripped up and brown from so much dirt. There were toenail clippings by the edge of the carpet next to the wall!! Gross! Going to sleep was difficult. The blankets had a bad odor. People were constantly leaving/entering their room and slamming the doors, yelling outside. There were cars pulling in and out of the parking lot, flashing their headlights in our room. Our neighbor on one side had his TV blasting most of the night while another neighbor on the other side was moaning. Mind you, we had our 2 year old in the room. It was absolutely DISGUSTING! The bathroom had mold on the ceiling with paint over it (I took a picture), no outlets and had not been cleaned in god knows when. It looked like someone shook a bottle of soda and sprayed it on the wall. There was no garbage pail in the bathroom, no lock on the bathroom door. After a shower, there was no fan in the bathroom so it was foggy. I took a piece of toilet paper (they had the most thinnest cheapest paper) and wiped the paper across the bathroom wall. There was so much dirt on it. I did the same with the bathroom floor, and again full of dirt. They don't clean, don't wash any of their linens, give you the cheapest supplies they can. It is the cheapest place I have ever stayed. When we put on the heat, it smelled horrible. We were so done and sleep deprived. We found out we still had no electricity at the house and inquired about another night, however the guy at the counter told us our room was already reserved for someone else. When we questioned why, he said they were willing to pay more for it. He had jacked up the price on us and gave it to someone who would pay more for it. It wasn't nearly worth the price we originally paid for it. What a rip off! Horrible service! Should...
Read moreI am a United States Navy Veteran, I served for 6 years in the fleet of which time I spent a good portion of it deployed with the US Marines. I have never been more proud to call myself an American—when I came home I founded a non profit to help our communities become more successful, due to my constant traveling to work related outings such as extended group physical work outs such as long distance running and intensive strength training, I have gone to rent a room for the day and the manager on duty went to take my money, when he saw a second person was with me—typically a coworker or volunteer who would have to come back with me the next day, he suddenly said, “Oh. Your with him. Sorry. No rooms available.” The guy proceeded to tell me that gays come in and have parties and rip their televisions off the walls. I personally don’t know what happens in other hotels, But to deny me a room based on his assuming I am gay and that I am going to have a homosexual orgy is insulting. I am in talks with a lawyer to get this place the proper attention it needs—to be shut down for good so that this disgusting and vile stain on the Earth and breeding ground for sin and pestulance can make way for something more wholesome, like a wellness center, or a career development site. There’s no reason that 4 of these hole in the wall locations exist so close to one another, their like roach nests all tunneled together. ||||Forget about WiFi, it never works, the rooms are disgusting, the carpet will leave a film of grease on your feet. The bathroom has roaches in the shower and the ceiling has mold. This place doesn’t need homophobia, it needs bankruptcy and an excorsist and additionally I would recommend the scum bag who treated a veteran with such disgrace to enlist in the service and earn that smug attitude he’s acquired over his life for it to cumulate into such a low life position. I pray he never has to learn the meaning of sacrifice or duty, because he clearly doesn’t sacrifice time to ensure that his staff takes care of the doody all...
Read moreAvoid this place !! I've been going there for years and it has gone down hill the last few years and after the last visit I will not be going back . We had gotten room with hot tub due to having severe joint pain and were in the room less that two hours before seeing roaches. One or two I can see but the amount that was seen was absolutely gross. When I went to front desk to get refunded I was told I couldn't get. Refund and was told to come back to speak to a manager. I went today and spoke to a manager who pretty much told me the same thing I wasn't get a refund but will comp me a room on the house . Makes no sense since I will never go back after this experience . I even told him we had gotten bit and he replied "roaches don't bite" which is complete false info I've see it numerous times. I do not recommend this place to anybody and will be sending pictures and videos to the health dept as well as the city dept of health due to this owner also owning another place in queens that I wouldn't frequent either . So much for the "customer is always right " phrase . FYI motel across the street newly renovated and is very nice . Parking is tight but overall...
