Frank's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

food is usually always great. we come here for the specials but if you sit down for pizza expect to have the bald short hispanic waiter to give you a nasty major attitude. Asked if I could sit at one of the tables and he goes “whatever i guess”. I get people have bad days-this wasn’t the first nasty encounter with him. Makes coming here miserable for my family and I. We are in and out in 15 minutes if we just get pizza to sit. We cringe every time we see him. We watch him and he is SO pleasant to the other patrons he is serving. I don’t like fake people. I am a regular customer but someone’s gotta tell that guy he needs an attitude adjustment. I could see if the place is packed and we are taking away from him getting tips by taking the table up but this is never the case when we stop in just for a few slices of pizza-half the restaurant is usually empty. My family and I have been frequent customers of Frank's for years, but stopped coming for a while because it wasn't what is used to be. When the change in ownership happened a few years back we decided to give it another shot and we definitely don't regret it! When we order delivery there's never any issues and food always come hot and when we come in for lunch during the week, not only is the food great, but the service is great as well. Vinny and the other gentleman - forgot his name (young, tall, slim build, medium brown hair) always treat my aunt and I great - they're so friendly, personal and professional as well as the other staff members...

I enjoy the food at Frank's BUT it is extremely unprofessional to hang up on a customer 5 times in less than an hour when they are trying to order a delivery. Everytime we as a family called we were hung up on. (This was around 12noon.)

Two days later at about 6pm I had no problem ordering a pie for pick up.

I would assume they'd be a little more patient when serving repeat customers EXPECIALLY during most restaurants low part of the day. It still puzzles me how they had more time on a Friday around dinner time other than a weekday around lunch time.
