Have actually never been but grew up in north Massapequa and was just checking google maps to see how much remained the same in the Broadway area. I saw NuBar where the old Blanche was. It made me curious to see if it was still a gay bar. I am not gay but think it is very cool that even though pretty much all the other bars in the area have come and gone, there has been a gay bar in this spot for what may be around 40 years? Very cool. I have not been back to LI in maybe 5 years but may stop in and have a beer and bites and check out the bartender everyone...

I got to say I love the atmosphere I love the people there the bartenders are amazing for drinks are always so good. The music depending on the 90 who's bartending to be pretty damn good as well I'm always there on Friday nights in the music is always a good mix between 80s 90s today. And the reservations are being going to the bar are going to be amazing as it is the little things of already changed have really perked...
