You’re driving down Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa, make a quick stop at Leonardo’s. I go here for lunch 2-3x a week. I’m a one slice of pizza kinda guy. I usually get the buffalo slice, until one day Dominick(the owner) says to try the Nashville chicken slice. It’s a square slice with Nashville hot chicken, piled high with Cole slaw, pickles and the most delicious sauce ever! I did, and did again so many times. It’s a home run!! Today I opted for the Detroit slice. Holy moly, every bite had a crunch, every bite had the best tasting tomato sauce. I’m going on record, Leonardo’s has the best pizza in all of Massapequa. Every slice is phenomenal! And Dominick, the owner is an absolute sweetheart of a guy! You’ll go there once and then you’ll be a regular after that!

The owner, Dominic, and his wife are amazing. We used to go into Brooklyn to L&Bs to get our weekly pizza. We now exclusively go here. Their baked clams are fresh, and we call them in to order. We get their plain pizza, and I absolutely adore their potato truffle slice and their vodka slice. They are very accommodating with my sesame allergy, and when I called to ask about it, the owner's wife put me on hold to track down the correct information (there are no sesame seeds on the premises, in any dish, in any breading or any bread). We will continue to support this establishment and the owners because of their amazing attitude as well as their food, even though it's quite a ways from where we live.

Ordered through slice. Pizza slices were not hot at all. Garlic knots were burnt and also lacked any flavor. Added meatballs and sausage to a slice but they didn't add extra cheese to hold it down so it fell off once you lifted the slice. All sicilian slices had burnt crusts as well. Don't order here if you want a decent experience. They'll also accuse you of lying when you aren't happy with your order.

*very rude worker ***and bad * place *bad experience *buy a amazing bad pizza. I recommend guys don't go this restaurant. It's really bad. This morning I came to this pizza restaurant with my friend. She gave 💲10 dollars to the front desk, he received it and gave back $6 dollars change to my friend. And I give 4 dollars to buy a slide off pizza as well. This guy, after received money, he said my friend did not pay him for the regular pizza. My friend said she paid $10 to him already, and she even remember the number the number on the that $10 dollars of the money. But he said:" She didn't give me money!, but whatever it's ok." Then I explained to him that my friend make sure she gave to him $10 money. If he don't believe her we can take look camera! However, he reject us for every request. Then he said to his worker straightly:" she didn't give me $10 dollars... Bla bla bla." My friend doesn't speak English, we are Chinese. But I totally understand English, I understand what he said to his worker insult my friend. Then we walk to counter again, said: even We are Chinese, but one slide of pizza $2.25 we are absolutely affordable. Did u treat all customer like this? How unfair.

Everytime he won't let me speak he dWith his FAKE FACE he said very very laud :" oh I believe you ! I love u !" We insist request that he could take a look camera, make sure our Chinese eating pizza without paying money? Finally! He go inside the camera computer to check the truth. 5min later he came out, he said he did take review camera. Camera shows my friend paid $10 dollars already. I said: So do u owe her apologize ?? Then he did say sorry. All I want say is not many people do that rude thing, especially in Long Island. (polite area) It makes us anxiety. He over charged us 2dollars, it's ok. We don't mind, but why is he so rude to us? What if we are America, the way he treated us will be...

I have searched most of Nassau County for a great pizza place and have been sorely disappointed by almost all of them. But my search for great pizza has finally come to an end! I am so impressed by Leonardo's pizza that I find myself actually looking forward to the next time I am going to order from them! I have eaten in the restaurant and was completely satisfied with the level of service and the food was absolutely heaven sent! Terrific selection, but if you don't happen to see something that you'd like, (which is highly unlikely) they will make you whatever you want on the spot! I can't say enough about how great this place is. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve. It's clean and they have a wide selection of just about any Italian food you can imagine. I order pizza from them every Tuesday night because they give discounts on what I was told they call "pizza night". Their pizza is so good that I don't order toppings anymore. And my wife and I always used to get toppings on every pizza we ever got. But Leonardo's pizza is so cheesy and flavorful in my opinion, it doesn't need any toppings! The English language is not good enough to adequately describe how good the food is. I highly recommend this establishment! It makes the best pizza on Long Island, and possibly the whole world. Two enthusiastic...

I have ordered takeout family meals previously, and the food was delicious. Recently I stopped in for a slice. As expected the pizza was excellent. But more importantly, I realized that these were incredibly friendly people. I think the owner and his wife were working but I'm not a frequent customer. Anyway, these people somehow made my day with their cheerful attitude. I know it sounds weird that ordering a slice of pizza could create that kind of feeling, but it truly did. I think it was their enthusiasm towards their food and a genuine appreciation of their customers. I know this sounds exaggerated, but go buy one slice and see if you agree. And I'm pretty sure any Long Island pizza aficionado will agree that their food is really good. Thank you Leonardo's, for the great pizza and good vibes. Who would have thought a quick slice of pizza would be worthy of such a...
