Lia's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I want to say that Lia's is great.... but unfortunately I can't because it's a HIT or MISS kind of place. The food and pizza is very good... BUT... sometimes you get your money's worth and sometimes you don't. They must have too many people making the pizzas because sometimes you'll get a pie that has way too much crust and not enough sauce & cheese and it doesn't even cover the area close to the crust... so you're getting a 14" pie instead of a 18" pie making the slices a joke because you're paying mostly for dough. When this happens, one pie barely feeds our two kids! Then you'll get a pie with a perfect crust, but too much sauce and not enough cheese...where there's a big area of sauce near the crust with no cheese... so you're basically getting a 16" pie instead of 18" pie. Then... on a good day, you'll get an ass-kicking 18" pie with little crust and just the right amount of sauce & cheese coming all the way to the rim of the crust! Whahooo! Savor those times...

if i could give less than 1 star for service, i would. multiple times when we’ve ordered they will wait to deliver until more than one order is finished, making our food cold. today we had a scheduled delivery for one pie at 12 for our classroom. 12:30 comes, no pizza. i call and they say it’s on the way, should be delivered any minute. an hour later, still no pizza. i call to find out what’s going on, he then tells me he has no order for us. even though it was placed. and he confirmed prior! done with this POS service. there’s multiple pizza places in the area that we can order from in the future.

EDIT: since posting this review, Lia’s has called my place of work and also my cell phone. and also called my cell from one of the workers personal phones....

This Place ...... Is AWESOME. I did order chicken mushroom pizza slice. It was superb. The taste is phenomenal. And here the place is super clean. It's really good for a quick pizza picked up. They already have pizza made and they Owen it and gives you within 5mints. And the customer service is extra ordinary. If you want they have plenty of pizza options. Here people are very friendly. And the dining place is really nice. Good for a family dinner or lunch too. Plenty of parking outside the store. I will go here again if you passing by syosset don't forget to go here and enjoy some delicious Italian pizza. One pizza slice is more than enough for one person I paid around $3 some cents it's really worth the...
