Me & You Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I recently visited a place called Me & You on Broadway in Bethpage with my son and daughter-in-law around 12 o’clock. We had googled the place beforehand and were attracted by its name. My son ordered a chicken burger and fries, my daughter-in-law had a power breakfast bowl, and I chose the classical breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage, and a cup of coffee. Upon arrival, we found the inside too noisy, so we opted to sit outside. However, it was windy, and the menu flew away. I would suggest the restaurant keep something heavy on the tables to prevent this. Knowing it was windy, we were served water in plastic cups. The wait time was rather long, but the food was good. The potatoes that came with my breakfast were a bit too spicy and salty for my taste. Our waitress, Cecilia, was pleasant, friendly, and sociable, checking on us periodically. The restaurant is open daily from 9 to 4, except Tuesdays, and offers an all-day menu. They also host events; while we were there, they were preparing for a baby shower, setting up balloons and tables. Overall, I would recommend Me & You for its nice staff and good food. I booked Me & You for a small Baby Shower SPRINKLE for my daughter. We were a party of 9 people. I made the reservation for a Sunday at 11am and asked if I could come in a little early to set up. I was told by the owner that I could and that they would have a gift table set up for me as well. I arrived at 10:40am to set up and there was no gift table. The owner was visibly annoyed as she said she didn't know and yet it was her who told me that this was an option for me which I gladly accepted. I even called a few days in advance to confirm everything as well. My daughter and guests arrived by 11am with one guest arriving at 11:15. We ordered beverages and food and by 12:30 we were handed our check and told we needed to leave as they needed the table. The food was great, the waiter was great and aside from having to finish our party in the parking lot where the last few gifts were opened, this would have been a five star rating. How do you kick out 9 people after 90 minutes? I was SO EMBARRASSED that my guests were being TOLD TO LEAVE! This place came highly recommended by a friend and we traveled from Huntington only to be kicked to the curb at the very last minute. I recently found this restaurant as I was walking past it. I literally saw the outdoor seating and decided to glance at a menu and poke my head in the window. The menu offered some breakfast staple such as omelettes and pancakes, but they also had some unique dishes for the area in nutella crepes and avacado toast. I decided to give it a shot that weekend. The first thing we notices is how clean the restaurant is and how welcoming the staff was. We were seated and we looked over our menus. I will give a disclosure that had not heard any reviews, so we really were trying because I walked by earlier in the week and it looked interesting

The menu offers a lot of choices, and some unique ways to prepare, like the Special K French Toast. I tried the quinoa salad bowl and my fiance went with the omelette. We both loved it and have been raving about it. It was so good I had to go back the following weekend and order an extra dish to take home so I can enjoy for lunch as I work from home.

The food is great, the staff is friendly, and it is a great addition to our town. I hope they continue...
