Dear Owner Anthony, “Pizza Man” Anthony & the Phil’s Pizza Family – Please accept my deepest apologies for not writing my “Pizza Review” from my very enjoyable visit this Summer 2024. As you know, I am a “Life Long / Hard Core” New York “Fat Jewish Boy” – Retired from a career in Emergency Medicine – I’m now married to an “Italian Jewish Girl” and taking care of Veterans in Charlotte, North Carolina. Your Instagram “Skits” make me smile when I need a smile. It was a no brainer, that I had to come and visit and try you Pizza this past Summer 2024. Absolutely delicious! Parking is a snap; - Dining room is extremely comfortable. I am truly amazed at the vast variety of specialty pies that you have. My absolute favorite is your Sicilian. Thank you for not “Berating” me for running off with the Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Crushed Red Pepper and Oregano – Just Kidding! Got to spice my slices righteously! Of course, I had to try your regular pie and that too was absolutely delicious. Crispy with No Flop! You are truly a gracious host! – Both of you are Mensches – And I’m sure you know what that is. I always knew Phil's existed but never came into here until recently. I've lived in Plainview for 10 years and I live about 10 min from here and upset it took me this long to come here. I wanted to come support a while ago when they were part of the Back the Blue fund raiser for Det. Jonathan Diller, but never had the chance. I was recently drawn to try it out because they popped up on my Instagram a few months prior. I loved the content he created because I remember dealing with this stuff when I grew up working in pizzerias.

Now here is the real review. Walked in and was greeted by both staff and owner. Very friendly and very welcoming. Upon first impression of the choices I was surprised to see the amount of specialty slices they had. Although, I like a regular slice but I love specialty slice. I had gotten the angry drunk and a eggplant rollatini slice. I must say wow, I am extremely pleased. The flavor, texture, and dough consistency were perfect. This legit just became my go to pizza spot for now on. Sorry to my old pizza spot near me that will not be named 🤣. Place inside is very clean and a nice atmosphere for a pizzeria/restaurant.

In conclusion, this place is a must go to and worth the travel! I honestly and truly think this place is a gem. Support local small businesses!

P.S. owner Anthony is way nicer in person. I may have to test his patience with some absurd...
